They indicate the level of air humidity by changing colour.
The result should be matched with the colour reference scale. In combination with a room temperature indicator they can be used to check whether heating and air conditioning systems are functioning correctly so as to avoid energy waste.
Useful for monitoring the level of comfort within a room, especially in a baby’s bedroom where the right temperature and humidity are so important for the baby’s well-being.
