How to definitively solve abdominal adiposity

We have now reached the end of the Christmas holidays, therefore, it is time to deal with the extra pounds taken during dinners and convivial lunches.

The pounds gained in these days are not worrying if you are able to immediately get back into the right rhythm with a healthy diet and physical activity. What we must repair are the accumulations of fat, such as abdominal adiposity, which persist and which we have difficulty eliminating (even before the Christmas excesses).

But let’s go in order: what is abdominal adiposity?

We are talking about an accumulation of adipose tissue that is deposited along the hips (the famous love handles) and in the abdominal area and which, if not treated, in addition to the unsightly effect, represents an increased risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, stroke and diabetes.

Mainly, this problem is due to an incorrect diet protracted over time and not connected to lunches and dinners during the holidays, combined with an unhealthy lifestyle and low physical activity, all factors which, if neglected, aggravate further the condition.

An aesthetic and functional problem, which affects a good portion of the population, be they men or women, regardless of their age.

The approach to solving the problem must be multidisciplinary and requires the intervention of the nutritionist in combination with aesthetic or medical aesthetic treatments (depending on the starting condition).

In all cases, we always suggest starting from an analysis of localized adiposity through the use of contact thermography, a special technology, based on the use of microencapsulated liquid crystal plates, which allows to identify the layers of subcutaneous fat showing them through high resolution color images: in this way, it is possible to distinguish the soft adiposity from the hardened one to set the most correct treatment.

Since this is a non-invasive examination and free of contraindications, it can be carried out repeatedly over time to view all the progress of the treatment.

Once this analysis has been carried out and the correct diet established with the nutritionist, it is possible to move on to treatments such as: cryolipolysis (based on the use of cold), laserlipolysis (using a special laser that acts in depth by hitting the fat cells) and cavitation ultrasonic (through ultrasound, it goes to spray the adipose tissues sending them into apoptosis): all effective and minimally invasive protocols that allow, from the start, the return to normal everyday activities.

For all three, proper hydration is highly recommended for the following period, in order to favor the disposal of all accumulated toxins.
