5 types of foods against cellulite

Cellulite is the consequence of inflammatory processes that affect blood vessels, adipose tissue, and interstitial tissue, therefore, if you suffer from water retention, you will not necessarily have cellulite as a consequence.

The same is true for the opposite: the presence of cellulite does not necessarily indicate a lymphatic problem.

Women are most affected by this imperfection for hormonal reasons, but weight gain also favors adipose accumulations, as well as lack of physical activity.

Generally, the most affected areas are hips, thighs, arms, and buttocks.

But what can we do to prevent or reduce this annoying problem?

The best way to start is to modify your diet and, if overweight, return to your ideal weight.

Several foods can help us in this arduous task.

5 types of foods that help against cellulite.

    • Saffron curry and ginger: powerful antioxidants that reduce inflammation of the subcutaneous tissues, responsible for the orange peel appearance. Ginger, then, promotes the drainage of liquids that accumulate in the tissues and carries out a detox action, favoring the expulsion of toxins from our body.
    • Green leafy vegetables (spinach, cabbage, dried peas, and all green leafy vegetables): they are rich in potassium, a mineral salt that helps the body’s tissues to get rid of excess water by acting as a “natural diuretic”.
    • Omega 3: excellent for counteracting fatty deposits on the thighs and buttocks, they can be found in blue fish, dried fruit, oil seeds, and extra virgin olive oil.
    • Fresh fruit: excellent for detoxifying and rich in antioxidants that help counteract damage from free radicals.
    • Asparagus: composed of 90% water, they have a low glycemic index and few calories. They lower blood sugar levels (responsible for hunger attacks) and promote diuresis.

In addition to a correct diet, it is important to identify the causes of cellulite both to prevent its formation and to decide how to eliminate it: for this reason, it is advisable to carry out a preliminary analysis using contact thermography, a non-invasive examination based on the use of microencapsulated liquid crystal plates.

Its operation is very simple: just place the plate on the body to detect the skin temperature (which reflects what happens in the underlying tissues) highlighting, through color images, the presence of cellulite and its stage: edematous, fibrous, sclerotic.

Through this system, and thanks to its total absence of contraindications, it is also possible to monitor the condition of cellulite session after session, demonstrating to the client, tangibly, the real effects of the treatment he is undergoing.
